Important results from the project
The goal is to offer customers an easy-to-use, high-quality, cost-effective method for testing the quality of wireless communication for connected products. The goal has been met, and RanLOS can now offer test equipment for frequencies below 6 GHz and within the mm-wave range.
Expected long term effects
Thanks to Vinnova´s support, RanLOS has developed, verified and started production of test equipment based on the "Random Line of Sight" methodology. Furthermore, we have built and engaged a network of distributors in Asia, and initiated discussions with a number of larger, potential customers, within the EU.
Approach and implementation
The company started with the goal of developing products based on research work by Professor Per-Simon Kildal, performed at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg. The project has, in large, been carried out according to the initial project plan. The funding from Vinnova has been crucial for RanLOS. Thanks to that, we have been able to keep schedule and reach the goals that have been set up for the project. The goals has been met regarding the development of technology, products and business plans. This has been possible through funding and clear project management.
