Expected long term effects
Thanks to the VINNOVA VFT2 project, the toolbox has thoroughly and rapidly been transformed from a prototype to the fully developed product FlexiStain, backed up with market analyses, test customer feedback, a production chain, and a market entry plan. More specifically, the team has successfully:: * Defined market opportunity and customer needs * Ascertained a production chain and secured FTO * Defined product content, including user manual * Manufactured FlexiStain kits and performed pilot testing * Generated business model, product calculations and product launch plan
Approach and implementation
The project have been executed through three main groups of activities: * Product verification by developing the prototype to a functioning product * Commercial verification by many interactions with potential customers and other key market actors * Asset protection by patent, licensing deals and development of trade secrets.
