Purpose and goal

The goal of RAI-6Green project is to achieve robustness by avoiding adding redundant networks and dedicated processing resources but instead developing AI-native self-healing resilient architecture with integrated processing, sensing and communication services.

Expected effects and result

RAI6Green envisions the development of Robust 6G Networks with heightened resilience against network failures, disasters, and power cuts. The focus extends to creating green, self-sustainable networks through innovative approaches. Additionally, the project emphasizes energy harvesting, flexible energy usage in the absence of circuit power, and the seamless integration of AI and ML across all network segments, ensuring continuous optimal performance without concerns of degradation, operating 24 hours a day.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will start in December of 2023 and run for 3 years. A total of 15 partners from 4 countries, Turkey, Portugal, France and Sweden will contribute to the work. In Sweden, one large company, Tele2, three SMEs, Infovista, Maven Wireless and Mic Nordic, are engaged together with KTH, which also acts as a coordinator. The project is carried out in 6 Work Packages (WPs), where one WP is set aside for project management and one focused on testing and demonstration.
