Important results from the project
Restructuring statistical data on migrationsinfo.se has made the information much more accessible than before, particularly to programmers. Graphs and tables have been revised and supplemented in order to facilitate reuse. We have separated tables from each other and made them available as individual csv- files. Developers can retrieve data through a DCAT- file and get continuously updated information on changes in the statistical data. We see this as a successful effort to spreading ideas about open data and about the Internet´s role as infrastructure.
Expected long term effects

Approach and implementation
Metadata about the statistics and tables are published according DCAT-AP. All data is linked from a continuously updated DCAT- file with information about changes in statistical data. Hierarchical data is published in CSV format (comma-separated values). We have also revised and expanded a lot of text and data. - Tables are separated from each other and are available as individual csv- files - Graphs and tables have been revised and supplemented in order to facilitate recycling - The DCAT- file is available on http://www.migrationsinfo.se/datasets/dcat
