Important results from the project
The purpose/objectives for 2012-2014 have well been reached. Further, we have made a considerable strategic move forward on a national/international basis. This is important when new large projects are to be incubated in order to provide SMEs and research groups possibilities to develop and reach new markets/networks. We also participate in policy matters regarding new calls through our work nationally/internationally (e.g. ProcessIT.EU roadmap and participation in workgroups/steering groups).
Expected long term effects
The result for 2012-2014 has been strong. Expected effects of the results are SME growth and expansion nationally/internationally at the same time as the primary industries are strengthened. The competence level with the primary industries has improved and long-term plans for further improvement are developed. Equality, integration and diversity has been improved and will be further improved by involving social sciences and new RDI-areas connected to the primary industries.
Approach and implementation
The planning and execution of the project in the shape of an innovation system, which commonly multiplies the basic funding by a factor of 4-5, have been successful and provided good opportunities for the region´s corporations, public authorities and academia to join and build relevant, interesting and strong projects. Forward on, we will put more efforts on building large projects.
