Important results from the project
ProcessIT 2015+ has been a project within the VINNOVA Vinnväxt program, and significantly increased the attractiveness, the RDI capacity (research, development and innovation), and the regional and national significance of the current ProcessIT innovation system. Further, the project has strengthened the regional commitment and the role of ProcessIT as a system integrator and as a node in the national mobilization within the innovation area. Through ProcessIT 2015+ the ProcessIT initiative have made a significant increase of turnover and project portfolio.
Expected long term effects
The project has increased its turnover from approximately 40 MSEK to approximately 65-70 MSEK 2017/2018.
Approach and implementation
ProcessIT has been and is continued an innovation intermediary, pushing regional growth through means of RDI in an innovation system focused on the digital transformation of the value-chains in process industries. As an intermediary of the innovation system, ProcessIT actively develops and supports the implementation of innovation processes that can reinforce competitiveness and growth in the region and its companies. ProcessIT also leads general development of the innovation system to improve its RDI capacity and attractiveness.
