Important results from the project
The purpose of the project was to investigate an initiative focusing to improve the application of research and experience based innovation management knowledge how it could be arranged and established. An added purpose was to involve interested parties, capturing their needs and their interest for future engagement. The prestudy resulted in a proposal for business and establishment plan for a sustainable initiative. The performed activites in the prestudy serves as a valid base for the proposal. A constellation of actors for the starting project was also identified and involved.
Expected long term effects
A proposal for a sustainable initiative in order to improve the application of innovation management knowledge is presented. This initiative aims to supplement the Swedish support system for innovation. A stepwise establishment of the initiative is proposed, starting with a two year project (2016-2017). In the starting phase activities will be performed in parallel to investigating how the initiative should be organized further on. In the following phase the initiative will be enlarged. A constellation of actors interested in engaging in the next step is identified.

Moreover, the project group has had a broad span covering representatives from companies, consultancies, institues and academia.
