Important results from the project
This project aims to industrialize the adaptive roof deflector for the aftermarket. The goal during the project is to reach a degree of maturity that allows for the production of first series for final system validation (TRL8).
Expected long term effects
The project has resulted in successful work packages, which means that there is a system for final system validation by customers. The goal is to offer the product to the Swedish aftermarket after customer system validation. The product is expected to be out on the market during Q4 2019.
Approach and implementation
All six sub-goals of the project proceeded according to plan and the results from the sub-goals were also according to the plan. We are convinced that this is because the work packages were clearly defined and measurable in terms of what they would achieve. By working with partners who are flexible and quick, the work has been able to continue continuously without any major delays. The work has been carried out to a large extent by the company´s employees and certain part-work packages by external consultants where the company has set the requirements.
