Coordinator Provexa Technology AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 300 000
Project duration August 2021 - December 2021
Status Completed
Venture Strategic innovation program SIO Grafen
Call Preparation project for Innovation and Demonstration projects

Important results from the project

The project aimed to conduct a feasibility study as a basis for a proposal to Vinnova to build a demonstrator facility for graphene-containing electrodeposition processes, based on two ongoing development projects. In this work, Provexa Technology enlisted the help of RISE-IVF and Chalmers Industriteknik. Challenges and the need for expertise were identified, which resulted in 8 work packages in the proposal and 6 project partners, as well as a strong reference group of potential customers.

Expected long term effects

The main goal of the project was to submit well-founded proposal for a demonstrator project in Vinnova´s December 2021 call within the SIO grafen, which was reached. Part of the work will also be beneficial for the GAIA projectif it is granted, since some work in some work packages has already been done regarding e.g. identification of standards and discussion with potential customers and experts (partners in the proposal). Some contacts and established collaborations will also be beneficial regardless of whether the proposal is granted or not.

Approach and implementation

The work was carried out through regular meetings between the project participants where we coordinated and distributed tasks to focus on between the meetings. In the final stage of the project when the proposal was written, a shared document was used where all participants could contribute.
