Important results from the project
Totech´s new dies, POWER JAWS, www.powerjaws.no, is designed to minimize tong forces and damages of the pipes, when connecting drillpipes in oil industry. In the further development and marketing, we need to know more about parameters that affect the function, also compared to traditional technology. Theoretical studies and practical tests will be done, to give us basic data about the different parameters influence, to help us in optimizing our product and to support our selling arguments.
