Important results from the project
The purpose and objectives of the post graduate school were to strengthen the post graduate education within the ITS area in Sweden and contributing to long-term knowledge creation through research and development in the area. We believe that we have succeeded by the established cooperation with the universities, industry and authorities. Joint courses have been implemented, admissions of students and examination has been done. The work is a continuation of the National post graduate school that was run between 2008-2014 The mission was a joint undertaking between Vinnova and STA
Expected long term effects
The purpose and objectives of the post graduate school were to strengthen the post graduate education within the ITS area in Sweden and contributing to long-term knowledge creation through research and development in the area. The activities have been conducted in close cooperation between the participating institutions, the STA, Vinnova and various stakeholders in industry and administrations. We believe we have succeded and have now a strong cooperation between the partners in the area. At the end of 2016 was 14 students active and we have received positive international attention
Approach and implementation
By having an appointed neutral actor whose purpose was to ensure that activities within the program was conducted under the guidelines and in the way that the clients and partners jointly had agreed on was very helpful. To make sure that all could have a direct influence on the program and that it was run on equal terms contributed to the positive outcome.
