The results include: -Methodology for production development teams. -Validation, testing and evaluation in companies. -Workshops, tools, presentation materials and guidance for the methodology. -Incorporation of the methodology in Produktionslyftet, LTUs Produktionsinnovation and independent programmes. -Development and evaluation of digital/distance pedagogic for innovation workshops.

Expected long term effects

The participating companies have learned and practiced methods to raise the innovativeness of operative personnel. The educational material is currently implemented in business development programs, which contributes to an expanded innovative capacity of the companies that participate in initiatives such as technology workshops, the production lift, the changeover lift, etc. As the programs are primarily aimed at established SMEs, the effects should be seen primarily in this type of company.

Approach and implementation

Due to the pandemic, the project plan was revised with more digital practical exercises in companies. After initial company briefing on objectives, methods were trained to increase innovative capapility with operational teams. Exercises, guidance and images were compiled for use in method workshops and as blocks in the Production Leap or other company development programs. The methodology is intended to be used in physical or digital format. The companies contributed actively in all parts of the project, but the results did not require as extensive mantime effort as budgeted.
