Important results from the project
The aim of this project is to develop a solid state, direct conversion, photon counting x-ray detector platform with dual energy capabilities and use this platform for a specialized detector that will be applied in a digital breast tomosynthesis device. The detector will be fitted in an existing mammography system that will be modified to provide a system ready for clinical evaluation.
