Important results from the project
OTMETKA participated in the event in Montreal with the aim of finding contacts / customers who are interested in participating in a commercial development work in the near future. We expect this to happen sometime in 2020. We also had two more important contacts in Kanade but then outside the event. We believe that there is some interest, but that the contacts need to be further developed. In general, Canadian forestry is somewhat in line with the Scandinavian approach to logistics solutions. However, we had thought that FP Innovations would show a greater interest.
Expected long term effects
We have asked the question to a Canadian company, and a research center for bioeconomy and innovation, if they want to collaborate in a development project with us. We have suggested that they be included in a customer project that we have abroad, as reference partners. Then we can have time to form a locally linked project with the opportunity to try the same solution in Canada within a year, we hope. So far, however, we have not received any reaction back. But that´s probably more because it´s been a short time since we were there.
