Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal of the project has been to develop and integrate an SVS / 3D application with a high-resolution database in an Avionics platform. Integration must be open and modular for integration with other applications in the Avionics Platform. In addition to this, performance requirements must also be met. The project has resulted in a prototype that has been integrated on the Avionics platform and where performance, interface etc. have been verified.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has developed a 3D application with a high-resolution database for integration into an Avionics platform developed by GE Aviation in England. GE Aviation has financed from Innovate UK. In addition to developing software and integration, use cases, system security and eligibility requirements have also been developed within the project.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The work has been carried out in close collaboration between GE Aviation and Saab. Common documents have been produced, e.g. Use cases, requirements documents and interface descriptions. The integration of software has taken place through the exchange of code and test software. Pga COVID, no physical meetings have been held, but all work between the companies has taken place via digital meetings.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
