Important results from the project
The primary goal has been to strengthen collaboration between Swedish and leading international open innovation scholars. The project enabled Chalmers and its faculty to collaborate with Linus Dahlander and to initiate strategic initiatives together with him.
Expected long term effects
Linus Dahlander has participated in research projects, held meetings with PhD students, presented his own research at seminars and organized a workshop focusing on journal publishing. In collaboration with Martin Wallin at Chalmers, Linus Dahlander also organized an international workshop with leading open innovation scholars. We believe the project was very successful and has deepened the contact between ESMT Berlin and Chalmers and will continue beyond the termination of the project.
Approach and implementation
During the project, Linus Dahlander has collaborated with Chalmers faculty at a number of occasions. The longest and most intensive period occurred when Linus Dahlander and Chalmers faculty organized an international workshop (financed through the project) focusing on new methods and theories in open innovation. Chalmers faculty and PhD students have also had the opportunity to collaborate with Linus Dahlander, especially with regards to research design and methods.
