Important results from the project
The Vinnova funded project Online Platform for Legal Advice with AI support aims to explore the possibilities of integrating human counseling online with automatic online counseling on multiple languages with support of AI and to develop an application that enables this in the form of a chatbot.
Expected long term effects
The chatbot has the potential to increase the availability for customers to high quality online advice at a sensible price and increase the ability of lawyers to work as qualified legal advisors on a freelance basis and to work wherever and whenever they wish. The lawyer´s time for handling administration is minimized and the customer therefore does not need to pay for time spent on lesser qualified work.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Various models of AI support have been tested in the project, with support IBM Watson and Google Tensorflow, and experiments have also been conducted with different solutions for multilingualism. A method for quickly training a chatbot that can answer simpler questions has also been developed and implemented so that a multilingual chatbot can be trained in a few hours to answer simpler questions in any legal area. In the chatbot, workflows for completing simpler legal matters can also be started, as well as booking online meetings with a lawyer.
