Important results from the project
The project has laid a solid foundation for developing more cost efficient, durable and simple online sensor systems that can monitor the environment in real-time. We have come a long way towards the final goal, but a larger development project is needed to reach the finish line. We have focused on noise and on the pollutants that have the most negative effect on humans.
Expected long term effects
We have reached the goals to establish a strong consortium with defined roles, a work plan and a consortium agreement draft. We have expanded the consortium to include more actors in the measurement chain, IoT-companies and more municipalities. We have come closer to our long term effect targets of: World leading selling air quality sensors and services exist on the market.
Approach and implementation
We have developed technical concepts and concepts for cooperation and service development as planned. This was documented in detail and will be used in the beginning of the different parts of a step 2 project. We have had a two day workshop in Hudiksvall and a one day workshop in Stockholm, and also had six web/phone meetings. We have involved more stakeholders e.g. the municipality of Gothenburg, and two IoT companies have joined the consortium.
