Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** One goal was to arrange a conference on IndTech in Silicon Valley, which was not possible with the Covid-19 pandemic, as a result of which the opportunities to travel and meet were affected. Instead of a larger physical conference, series of digital events were established for both the dissemination of knowledge, but also workshops with the aim of increased interaction between participants. The ultimate goal of the project has given the above unexpected positive results and created conditions for new meetings and new models for internationalization.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** IndTech as a strategic focus area in collaboration between Sweden and USA/Silicon Valley has grown and efforts of various kinds have been added, eg Talent Attraction and increased collaboration with Business Sweden. A outcome to pay special attention to is the collaboration between Vinnväxtmiljön AR and SIP PiiA. Based on their mission and respective environment where collaboration between them is a strong basis for system transformation and concrete activity a relevant innovation platform for Swedish industry is guaranteed.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Planned a large conference on site in Palo Alto but due to the pandemic, the project was restructured. The methodology for implementation was adjusted from fewer physical meetings to more digital meetings. Within the framework of these meetings, workshops, matchmaking, seminars, Coffee chats and individual meetings were offered. This adjustment resulted in the project result delivering better than expected with 174 organizations involved.
