Important results from the project

The Nordic Changemaker map takes a health check on the Nordic social entrepreneurship sector. This through identifying key actors, understanding status quos as well as the desired state for the sector. With the help of surveys, in-depth interviews, digital maps, reports with trends and recommendations and a series of events bringing together actors from different sectors, the Nordic Changemaker Map aims to, in the long term, strengthen the Nordic landscape for social entrepreneurship.

Expected long term effects

The project has through partnerships and analysis created national digital maps, as well as a nordic map, of the sector. It has also generated national reports including trends and recommendations on national level, as well as a nordic comparison. Related to the analysis of the data and the report writing we also conducted a series of events with actors from different sectors to both anchor as well as present the results of the project.

Approach and implementation

The project was conducted in phases: - Identification of network partners to be able to reach the target group - Data collection through a larger quantitative survey and in-depth interviews with selected respondents - Analysis meetings were held to identify trends. The digital maps were created in this phase. - Based on the results of the analysis, national reports were written with trends and recommendations. Lastly, a nordic comparison was conducted based on national results.
