Important results from the project

During the project NIVO received a large inflow of participants who see the benefit of interacting with players with similar goals. The aim during the project has been and continue to be the ´meeting place´ where contacts can be created and maintained. We are looking to develop new partnerships between actors. This contributes to knowledge-enhancing collaboration efforts, skills and experience, which strengthens participants in the role of advisor/project owner.

Expected long term effects

The working group considers that the project has been very successful. NIVO has actively been searching for solutions for the development of the network and we now have a few public actors, country councils, who express interest in taking responsibility for and fund a restart of the network. The ´new NIVO´ aims to not only work practically as before, but also address strategic innovation issues, and thereby influence, promote and clarify the public innovation system.
