Important results from the project

The goal was to allow the visit of Professor Wadood Hamad from Univ. of British Columbia, Canada to SP for detailed discussions on a longer-term cooperation and recruitment. The goal was completely fulfilled. A multi-day visit has been carried out and detailed discussions led to a full application submitted to the VINNMER Marie Curie Incoming Grant program. Additionally, the recruitment process is started.

Expected long term effects

The result so far is that SP has been able to tie a leading international expert to a VINNMER application and long-term cooperation for a permanent research / business development position at SP. For Wadood Hamad this means great opportunities for a significant career development.

Approach and implementation

Th pre-project planning and implementation in January- March and ended in that a complete application to VINNMER MC Incoming was submitted. A multi-day visit was conducted including seminars, research discussions and tours in the Stockholm area to visit surroundings and appropriate living neighborhoods. This visit was followed up by in-depth discussions until the complete VINNMER application while a recruitment process with various interviews has begun.
