Important results from the project
The goal of the project is for Brogren Industries to become more complete as a supplier to the aerospace industry. The purpose of the project is to establish a company in Sweden besides GKN that can offer the special process NDT-Penetrant, Nadcap qualified. The equipment is in place and the staff is trained, however, the Nadcap qualification has not yet been completed. This is due to covid-19 impact on the aviation industry.
Expected long term effects
This project strengthens Swedish SME suppliers and makes us in Sweden more competitive because we then have the opportunity within Sweden´s borders to perform a special process, NDT-Penetrant according to the requirements.Brogren Industries has good cooperation with other manufacturing SME companies in Sweden and will be able to help these companies with this process. Brogren Industries will offer this service to customers in Sweden and Internationally.
Approach and implementation
