Important results from the project

n-Ink provides eco-friendly, high-performing and stable electronic inks to boost the performance of solar cells, batteries, capacitors and bioelectronic sensors. n-Inks are the n-type equivalent of PEDOT:PSS for a new era in organic electronics, because they offer previously unobtainable electronic and chemical properties that allow for new products such as low-cost, high-performing flexible solar cells. n-Ink has entered the market in 2021 and secured 2 patents (+1 patent in preparation).

Expected long term effects

n-Ink achieved all of the pre-defined goals of the project and we are currently selling our products to national- and international customers. We are expecting to grow further and contribute with our innovative solutions to the sustainability goals of the future and provide a valuable puzzle to meet the energy and climate targets. Our research and development activities secure our leadership position on the market and will contribute to quality jobs here in Sweden.

Approach and implementation

We focused on commercializing our product and attracted first customers. We also learned about additional requirements and developed a strategy towards new products that solve customer needs. We will continue to develop strategic and international partnerships. Finally, by securing patents and expanding our IP-portfolio we strengthen our position as a market leader and innovator. We are confident that our products will have a positive impact on existing solutions of customers, while further improving the sustainability aspect of the end product (e.g. solar cells).
