Important results from the project
The project aimed to strengthen the BMS product GuardTools by develope functionality that enables reporting in different languages, and present that data in a different language. The goal of the project was to gain new knowledge and to develop a prototype that can then form the basis for further development and implementation of the product GuardTools. Fulfillment - BMS has fulfilled the aims and objectives that were established in the project application.
Expected long term effects
BMS now has the knowledge required to evaluate which technology to use with regards to effort and outcome. BMS will soon have a product on the market that meets the needs and requirements of international players in the security industry.. BMS is expected to expand its lead to international competitors and increase the product values.
Approach and implementation
The methods and the approach that we chose for this project turned out to be very appropriate. By partially hire consultants who we knew in advance had a good knowledge and experience in the field and using workshops and the development method SCRUM with short ´sprints´, we managed to identify, develop and test a technique suitable for BMS purposes. We wouldnt change approach if we´d done it again.
