Purpose and goal

The MONITOR project aims to develop an AI-driven, continuous digital twin-based framework for real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, formal verification and adaptive safety validation of AI-driven safety-critical embedded systems to ensure their reliability, resilience and regulatory compliance throughout their operational lifecycle. Planning projects will develop a solid basis for an internationally competitive project application towards Chips JU IA.

Expected effects and result

The project will lay the foundations for a flagship project that not only meets stringent regulatory requirements but also strengthens Europe´s leadership in digital innovation and cybersecurity through the creation of a strong, diverse and multidisciplinary consortium. The planning project is a crucial step to ensure that the final MONITOR proposal is robust, well-coordinated and able to attract international funding.

Planned approach and implementation

During the five-month planning phase, we are refining the MONITOR framework through structured collaboration with over 60 national and international partners, building the foundation for a competitive project application under Horizon-JU-Chips-2025, with a focus on digital innovation and safety & security.
