Call Planning grant for international proposal 2024

Purpose and goal

The project idea for the EIC Path Finder is to realise advanced optical devices based on the novel concept of lossy mode resonance. The planning project will be used to refine the project objectives, plan and confirm the use cases and end-user engagement. The efforts will ensure that the application is made fully in line with the requirements of the EIC Pathfinder Open Call, by identifying the necessary technology leap that needs to be achieved, to increase the acceptance rate of the proposal.

Expected effects and result

The consortia will apply for a call from the European Innovation Council (EIC), specifically the EIC Pathfinder Open 2025. In the framework of the planning project, the project idea will be concretised, a complete consortium will be built and work packages will be defined. The guidelines of the call will be closely followed, in order to facilitate technology transfer and enable industrialisation. We are targeting €4 million in funding from the EIC.

Planned approach and implementation

1. Define project content and identify partners Mapping of the research field and actors, communication with potential partners, building a consortium. Project outline and constellation of project partners 2. Proposal writing and concept refinement Detailed writing and customisation of the project work to be carried out Delivery: Proposal to be submitted to the EIC Pathfinder open call 3. Proofreading and review, registration, input and submission to the EU portal
