Important results from the project
The 2 phase project has prepared MyVox for Int’l launch with a gesture control product on the market by 2020 The goal is to develop a new type of safe and energy efficient 3D sensor solution for secure identification based on 3D ultrasound imaging To grow and establish MyVox, the following goals for 2017-18 have been met: - Spec & Design System & Electronics System Manufacturing - Integrated ultrasound gesture demo with improved sensor design - Test lab with enhanced capability for 3D ultrasonic acoustics measurement - New refined B2B business plan through in-depth global / market analysis
Expected long term effects
Interview and analyzes with industry players from different industries, provided us the system functions that increases the customer benefit and add user value We gained better insight to what customers are demanding for future products within the 2 areas of gesture control aimed as first demo pilots. Further we through out this project found new alternative application for the Myvox technology In depth biz intelligences analysis gave a refined B2B biz & market entry plan, est. in August 2018 Patent review and an initial FTO was performed IPR check used to develop a refined IPR strategy
Approach and implementation
The tech. development and conceptual testing of ultrasound 3D technology were done in 5 work packages Studies of guest control usability were performed in 2 selected application areas New HW were designed & manufactured and through advanced 3D testing we gained in-depth understanding that lead us to new application fields A more comprehensive global analysis of market potential & competition, as well as update capitalization plan and IPR strategies has been successfully carried out Prototype demos of the 3D ultrasonic sensor system have simplified discussions with external players
