Important results from the project
It is crucial for the success of Medtech4Health that health care is interested in medtech innovations. Otherwise there is no market for new products or services. Medtech4Health Innovation Award is one initiative to encourage employees in the health care sector to participate in the implementation of new technology.
Expected long term effects
Medtech4Health Innovation Award will be awarded to a group of employees that has done exceptional work in implementing new medtech, thus improving the health care. The first Innovation Award is going to be handed out in April 2017.
Approach and implementation
During 2016 a project group was established in order to realise the award. The project group has among other things: - benchmark other awards - marketed the award to potential nominees - recruited a jury.
