Important results from the project
McFlairs was a startup and we participated in an investment conference in Zurich via Leaf/Vinnova. We had table talks with 2 investors and before the actual conference in Zurich, we had also a call with a French investor. We received valuable feedback on acceptance criteria for our investment proposal (proposals like ours) and how different classes of investors can become interested. The purpose was to test investment decks early, and to get the chance to get a realistic overview of how a Life Science consultant can get funding internationally, ie a startup. These objectives were well met.
Expected long term effects
McFlairs benefited from the conference. We were able to adapt our business concept and better our direction and objective.
Approach and implementation
The plan was to travel to Zurich, and perform table pitches with investors, using our investor deck, and then take this experience home with us to Sweden, to continue growing McFlairs. In the implementation of this project, we gained the experience we were expecting, and new inputs influenced the focus and objective of McFlairs.
