Important results from the project
The project goal have been to find product-to-market-fit. Through the project we gained the opportunity to visit international trade fairs and get in touch with both prospective customers for market research, as well as future investors. This has led to valuable knowledge, and reprioritisation of the development and launch schedule as well as the strategy to raise capital for further development. We have also created the concept for market leading functionality in the television sector where the first part already is launched and the next part is launched in Q1 2014.
Expected long term effects
Through the project, we interviewed and made contact with producers in 20 countries who are waiting to use the service as we now through the project has found a first product-to-market-fit. This allows us to aggressively launch the service internationally in 2014 in a first product phase. We expect several major productions begin to use the product in the first half of 2014 and that the use of smaller productions like commercials will be taking off. Through the new investment strategy, we expect a first angel investment during the spring of 2014.
Approach and implementation
Design and implementation has mainly taken place in two ways: First, international potential customers contacted via email leading to physical meetings and opportunity for research and personal contacts, which have been extremely valuable. Secondly, concept and strategy work within the company. This work was dependent on the knowledge acquired through the physical meetings with potential customers from around the world. We have also conducted interviews with key customers in Sweden with decades of industry experience who has been very significant for the design of the service.
