Important results from the project
The goal for the project was to create a quality-assessed in-depth description of structures and actors in the firm segment of the Swedish ICT sector. Active firms with at least 5 employees have been classified to three main service segments and one hard-ware segment. In total, 2,300 firms with around 160,000 employees have been classified according to business logic, geography, statistical codes, economy, export and main customer groups.
Expected long term effects
The County Board of Stockholm will use the results of he project in the preparation of the upcoming programmes for the structural funds, in international projects and cooperation with the other regions in Sweden.
Approach and implementation
The development and implementation of the project have followed the original plan.
