Important results from the project

An AI-based technical platform for personalised coaching and decision support has been developed, as well as a number of complementary design concepts and prototypes for personalised support for managing stress in everyday life, from the perspective of different target groups. A broad understanding has been created for how different stakeholders view AI-based stress management tools. Prototypes that have been developed have been tested by users, primarily with the aim to test different technological solutions, content and interface designs.

Expected long term effects

Design concepts and prototypes have been developed applying both dialogue-based and non-verbal interaction. Content for situation-based assessment of stress-related information has been developed. The developed platform for decision support and coaching contains a broad base of functions that can be used differently depending on the individual´s needs and desires. The platform is general, and will be further developed for more application areas within healthcare.

Approach and implementation

Participatory design methodology has been used to involve various stakeholders and develop design concepts from the different perspectives of the participants. This has led to a broad understanding of how different stakeholders view AI-based stress management tools, and several complementary design proposals and solutions. It has also resulted in the technical platform containing a broad base of complementary functions that can be used differently depending on the individual´s needs and priorities.
