Important results from the project

The purpose of the project "MagicNova - super skills at work" was to simplify for employers to be able to include people with NPF diagnoses such as autism, adhd and add. The aim of the project was to develop and test a prototype (MVP) on relevant target groups. The result is a prototype 2.0 by MagicNova, a digital tutor tool for employers and employees, which forms the basis for the next step of technological development. The project goal has been achieved.

Expected long term effects

The result of the project is a prototype 2.0 for MagicNova, a tutor tool that facilitates the work with active inclusion in the workplace. The effect is a more equal labor market where everyone can contribute and get support based on their needs. The expected effects for the company are increased diversity and innovation power. For the individual, the effect is increased independence and thus even increased quality of life. For society, the economic benefits mean having people in work instead of on contributions. This also contributes to the UN´s interim goal 10.2 Reducing inequality.

Approach and implementation

Both the development of the prototype and the implementation of user tests have taken place in collaboration with researchers at KIND, Karolinska Institutet and Axess Lab, a technical partner with expertise in digital accessibility and more partners that represent the target group. The analysis of the result is a basis for further development of a digital platform with essentially four parts; - Mapping - Objectives - To-do-list - Follow-up In the user tests, three types of users have also been identified; - Employer/Supervisor - Co-worker - Consultant/Coach
