The consortium consisted of 15 partners including 10 university hospitals and / or their academic institutions and 8 industry players focusing on IT, medical technology, and research (of which 1 innovative Svenskt SMF).
Expected long term effects
The project has developed a project plan and formed a consortium that will carry out the project, the proposal has been submitted to the HE portal. Partners have all said that they want to cooperate regardless of funding from the EU and a number of meetings to discuss what can be done have already been carried out. A decision on funding is expected in February 2022, in the event of a positive announcement, grant agreement preparation and CA will begin with the expected project start in Q2 2022. Pending the announcement, cooperation will continue and certain activities will be started.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project developed a plan for an RIA project focusing on the method of lung cancer with secure data collection, technical development, and clinical implementation, as well as a strong consortium. In order for the project to be implemented, healthcare, clinics, and hospitals were IT, driving the requirements. The work was carried out virtually due to Covid, but the biggest work was done at Region Stockholm/K/KI to define data on lung cancer and to structure it. The consortium includes all relevant competencies to be able to carry out the project.
