Important results from the project
The project has created an open testbed to promote testing of technologies that drives the development of the real-time society where people, organizations, infrastructure and sensor systems work together to create a sustainable environment with a high quality of life.
Expected long term effects
The test bed has lgiven many different actors the oppertunity to try and test their solutions in a simple and free way, where all actors have the same term. The test bed is fully operationel after the project and no parts have been stopped because the project ended. On the contrary, it is planned for how to continue to develop and manage it as an important resource, to promote the development of new sustainable solutions in the emerging real-time controlled society.
Approach and implementation
The project has been run through a fruitful collaboration between society´s various actors. Industry has contributed technology and various solutions to the open test bed, where Future by Lund has been able to act as an impartial innovation coordinator. The public sector has contributed with challenges and analyzes of solutions. The test bed has contributed to the development of new solutions that the industry can offer on an international market.
