Important results from the project
LSI should take a broader approach to innovation support and combine several of the regions strenghts in research and industry;life science, functional food, nanmedicine and m/e-health. By bringing together ideas and entrepreneurs to create new opportunitiesthat can lead to new cross-border products and services in health and better life applications. In addition to business development and support for entrepreneurs LSI can offer an unique infrastructure in the form of lab and instruments to students, researchers and business.

Create growth in the number of new companies and new jobs.
Approach and implementation
Together with Mobile Heights and /or other stakeholders to develop a plan for e/mhealth. Promote and develop cooperation and exchange of experiences between life science incubtors in Sweden (ALIS), SIO SWElife and SIO Medtech4health. Create a network of leading life science incubators internationally to open new venues for funding and partnership for companies. Investigate opportunities that arise in connection with research and interest related to the ESS and MAX IV in primary nano-technology field.
