Important results from the project
The Stockholm fish supply is based on imported fish with sales of approximately 3 billion SEK annually. The consortium NÄRFISK aims at creating an organization that can produce and sell locally produced fish in the Stockholm region. The organization plans to gradually establish a system of local fish farming units, where a few units produce fish fry and juvenile fish while a larger number food fish.
