Important results from the project

We have learned a lot about what we can adopt in industrial interoperability and deepened international cooperation. It has given us insights into how much we have left to work with and more to learn, not least when it comes to business changes. Already during the LCDM Fas1 project, we had observed some international standardization initiatives such as DEXPI and CFIHOS. The four pilots have given the same conclusion, we have created knowledge about the possibilities of industrial interoperability and we have created a broad knowledge of the possibilities with standardization.

Expected long term effects

We have established Industriell Interoperabilitet in many industry organizations and several suppliers have included the results we have achieved in their product and service delivery. Our pilots have demonstrated real effects of using the interoperability standards that we have established in Sweden together with our international partners such as DEXPI and CFIHOS.

Approach and implementation

The project has been carried out with a focus on four different pilots, where international interoperability concepts DEXPI and CFIHOS as well as the ISO 15926 standard have been tested in practice by sharp needs in industry as a basis for the pilots´ implementation. Around the pilots, training, workshops and webinars have been held that spread the experience created during the implementation of the pilots. The pilots´ results have been presented and documented in connection with our Summit on March 17, 2021, which is documented on SEIIA.se
