Status Ongoing
Venture Strategic innovation program SIO Grafen

Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project aims to help Swedish companies in the graphene value chains to make more informed strategic and operational decisions regarding the environmental performance of their products. The goal is to provide a prototype tool for life cycle assessment (LCA) where users can make indicative comparisons regarding primarily the climate impact between their and alternative products, based on relevant generic but as current as possible.

Expected effects and result

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** It is expected that Swedish companies in the graph´s value chains make more conscious strategic and operational decisions regarding the environmental performance of their products. concretely, the result should lead to all participating companies having access to a calculation tool that is relevant to their activities, and that they have the necessary knowledge to be able to use it.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is laid out in six work packages which will mainly be carried out in parallel because the project time is relatively short, September 2023 - May 2024. 1. Develop user requirements and interfaces 2. Produce data for background processes (raw materials, energy systems, waste processes) 3. Develop data entry forms for the businesses´ own processes 4. Collect data and conduct a small sample of LCAs for illustrative applications 5. Implement and test the tool 6. Project communication and project management

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
