Important results from the project
The goal of this project was to improve and continue to enable a new type of service for people who are lacking time in their everyday life - home-delivered laundry. The project´s aim is to increase scalability and streamline Laundrop´s internal processes - which further creates improvements for customers who order. The goals for this project consist of: Create improved customer experience for deliveries of laundry. Create improved opportunity to connect new logistics areas and logistics partners Create less friction from order to delivery.
Expected long term effects
The project has integrated a new digital logistics partner, improved the tools that laundryshops work with. The results project are expected to produce effects that can be divided into 2 parts: 1. Improved (end) customer experience through a more complete digital experience from order to delivery. 2. Easier handling and communication for laundryshops regarding differences between orders and what was delivered. The effect of automation and decentralization of information is expected to provide more efficient communication between customer, logistics partners and laundryshops.
Approach and implementation
The project has been completed and each phase has been put into use and is used today by Laundrop´s customers and partners. Laundrop has created the opportunity to move its gaze towards growth. The following points describe the execution: New logistics partner - automated order placement via API when ordering via web, telephone / email or automatic subscription. New areas (greater Stockholm) are available for pick-up of laundry. New opportunity to order pick-up of laundry the same day. Imporoved CRM-support (laundry app) and a more efficient handling.
