Important results from the project
The current high cost of synthesising primary nanoparticles and nanostructures limits the use of nanomaterials in several of these technical applications. The aim of this project is to synthesise costeffective nanoparticles by combining novel chemical and biological synthesis routes. The particles will be based on a human non-toxic matrix protein. Our goal at this phase is to demonstrate possible production yields of 10 kg nanoparticles/day.
