Project duration June 2023 - June 2025

Venture The strategic innovation programme for the Internet of Things

Purpose and goal

The project aims to simplify and improve the requirements with regard to information and cyber security. The aim is to ensure, over time, the right technical and organizational protection measures. The protective measures aim to reduce the probability of a cyber attack, or reduce their effect. SKR together with a number of other organizations such as Svenska Stadsnätsföreningen (SSNF) and Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) have shown in various innovation projects that it is possible to apply (SKR) method support CLASS on new phenomena such as AI, IoT and cloud.

Expected effects and result

Develop and create opportunities for more than one catalog of requirements aimed at different businesses and different phenomena such as IoT Skapa opportunities to use open and inclusive standards to a greater extent rather than proprietary standards Create opportunities for harmonized, sustainable and robust requirements towards market parties Create opportunities for public activities to build own knowledge to introduce and manage secure solutions Long-term ensure a tool that supports work with increased quality and reusability of information and data

Planned approach and implementation

The project is conducted in four phases - each phase is a learning phase that leads on to the next phase. In the project, there is a broad representation of municipalities, regions and authorities who learn from each other and share experiences. In the final phase, the result is verified by an even wider group, also the target group for the result. The aim is that the learning continues in step with the ever wider use and that SKR continues to manage and refine the result in the same way as SKR has done so far, which means that the learning and the exchange does not end when the strategic project ends.
