Important results from the project
To create a solution for production of prefabricated roof constructions in a controlled environment.
Expected long term effects
Solution developed and tested. Positive effects such as faster weather proofing on construction site, significantly shortened building time, reduced need for scaffolding, better and safer working environment and possible to ensure sufficient quality before delivery. Patent pending.
Approach and implementation
1. Identify needs and relevant project partners. 2. Developement of a conceptual solution in cooperation with Ltu. 3. Construction and building of test platform for different roof prototypes. 4. Tests and evaluations of solutions. Mulitple steps where new details have been implemented and new roof prototypes have been built. 5. Final test assembly and evaluation of preferred solution. 6. Patent pending
