Important results from the project

We have gathered most of the companies and organizations that work to improve matching and guidance in the labor market with new technology. During contacts with them, it turned out that a meeting place / test bed is really missing as several don´t have direct contact with the users. We have also noticed a great deal of interest from municipalities, cities, SKR for the work we do. Also from the Swedish Public Employment Service. The matching problem is a high-priority societal challenge.

Expected long term effects

The interest and willingness to move towards a more data-driven labor market is very big. To achieve this and the system relocation one achieves with more efficient matching, access to data is required. An important part of the project has been to locate and discuss access to data. How to extract and use data. Also from a democratic, ethical and integrity perspective. There has been a great focus on data in the project and what increased use in matching contexts can have for social effects.

Approach and implementation

The arrangement had to be changed due to the circumstances during the spring and autumn. All planned meetings and workshops had to be carried out digitally, but despite this the project plan could be followed. To explain the function of a test bed, which in some cases can feel abstract, a closer communication in the form of physical workshops and being able to work in small groups would have been an aid to understanding. Despite this, the project has generated the material and knowledge needed to be able to take the next step in an implementation project.
