Important results from the project
The aim project has been to enable the use and integration of knowledge, methods and tools developed in the Vinnova-funded Sins project on innovation-capacity in collaboration for the introduction of welfare technology. Through collaboration in the project, the partners came to the conclusion that a checklist could be a simple and flexible tool that could support in organising complexity related to collaboration for developed innovation-capacity. The checklist is available here https://ivris-checklist.web.app/ and can support innovation capacity of several organizations.
Expected long term effects
The main result consists of a checklist to support the development of new ways of working with welfare technology through collaboration and learning. The checklist is available here https://ivris-checklist.web.app/ Unlike many process models, the checklist is built to be simple and visually appealing, as well as to support non-linear processes. Expected effect is better innovations that are useful and feasible given that they are based on a process that includes the right skills at the right time by supporting collaboration.
Approach and implementation
The method used in the project offers a way to further develop work practices and is briefly described in a document available on the project webpage. https://www.mdh.se/en/malardalen-university/research/research-projects/ivris---introducing-welfare-technology-through-the-realization-of-collaborative-innovation-capacity? The method facilitates learning and can be used by others too. For the stakeholders involved, it has been important that the tool that is created should be simple and the participation of an expert in information design har helped with that.
