Important results from the project
The purpose was to shed light on the existence of IP assets, structure them and create a long-term strategy for future investments in research and development. Ultimately, the IP strategy developed will contribute to achieving the company´s short- and long-term business goals. The purpose and goal have been achieved in a good way and the strategy has been implemented as part of the company´s quality system (ISO 9001: 2015).
Expected long term effects
The result is that the company has gained a comprehensive knowledge of existing IP assets and the protection they provide today and what can or should be done in the future. The IP strategy also presents proposals for how upcoming products, launches, marketing etc. must be handled from an intellectual property perspective.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented in three steps. 1) Current situation analysis 2) External analysis 3) Delivery and presentation of the proposed IP strategy The three steps were carried out in a good way and the company got a clear understanding of needs and necessary measures.
