Purpose and goal

Our product if relatively simple, we have chosen a design suitable for mass production to be able to sell it at low cost. This means that it can be manufactured and sold in a vast number of countries across the globe. Because of the global nature of our product, our IP strategy is a very important part of our business plan. Our goal with a new IP strategy is to considerably increase the relevance of our business plan so that it complies with the product with regards to our global market, competitor analysis and mass production.

Expected effects and result

Our future IP strategy should be based on in-depth analyses performed by experts, it should consider our and our competitors specific place on the market and handle all our company´s non-physical assets including trademarks. A well based IP strategy will give our business plan an invaluable boost. It will be a tool for us to use in many situations to come and will permeate the entire company work methodology.

Planned approach and implementation

We will hire expertise to perform the below stated activities. The results of the activities will be summarized into a document which till be incorporated into the company business plan. - Develop an in-depth IP strategy. - Obtain an inventory on non-physical assets in the company. - Obtain an inventory on our competitors registered IPR. - Improved strategy for trademarks and branding. - Clearer positioning with regards to the competition. - Improved handling of corporate/trade secrets.
