Important results from the project
We desire a better and more unified handling of our IP. This is especially important since it contain a mix of closed sourced software as well as code and design available to clients and users. We also do business with partners in projects and hence it is crucial that we retain the ownership of all things important to us.
Expected long term effects
We have with the help of our IP-consultant made an inventory and an overall strategy of our different IPs. Everything from ongoing patents, company secrets, domain names, know-how and software.
Approach and implementation
Together with our chosen IP-consultant a plan for the work regarding the IP-strategy was made. We initiated with a longer workshop as a way to create a first inventory of the present state and identified needed additions. The work itself was completed in two phases, where we had ongoing feedback loops with the consultant.
