Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has aimed to develop opportunities and potential with IoT in schools and in its educational environments. The goal of the project has been to establish an IoT hub school and to develop guidelines for work with IoT in the school. IoT hubb school is now established with a site where research, experiences and guidelines for use and development of IoT services and technology for the school are gathered. Guidelines are published for three target groups - school principals, suppliers and teachers.

Expected long term effects

Central to the project are the tests of IoT technology that have been carried out. About 20 test cases have been tested in labs and 8 test cases of IoT technology have been tested in school environments. The project has conducted workshops with school staff on needs and opportunities with IoT in school and reports and experiences from the applied research have been continuously published. Overall, this has resulted in research based support for the school´s work with IoT, which will be of great benefit as more IoT services are developed and offered to the school.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has consisted of 13 parties. Two institutes / universities, two companies and nine school principals. At the companies and the institute, initial tests have been done of possible IoT applications for the school. Particularly promising test cases have since been tested by school principals. Researchers have followed the work and compiled results and experiences in reports. Finally, this has been jointly worked out together with the target groups for the Guidelines for IoT in schools.
